| The first solo exhibition of pixel paintings by Ho Yue Weng, "Pixel Abstraction" features 28 digitally painted canvases inspired by the lyrical landscapes of Bali, the nostalgic charm of the old street scene and the stylistic rendering of the sensuous fugitive abstracts. |

| The final of this series of five exhibitions features three top realist artists namely Choo Keng Kwang, Chua Mia Tee and Siew Hock Meng and two artists, Foo Chee San and Tan Tee Chie who are currently experimenting in contemporary Chinese ink painting in the representational style. Except for Siew Hock Meng who is the youngest in the group, the other artists have over sixty years involvement in art. |

Second-Generation
Artists.
Titled “Important
Second-Generation
Artists
Series”,
this
series
recognises
artists
who
have
been
instrumental
in
shaping
the
development
of
Art
in
Singapore
and
who
have
consistently
demonstrated
capabilities
comparable
with
established
artists
in
other
parts
of
the
world. “Second-generation” refers
to
artists
who
were
active
in
the
art
scenes
of
the
1950s,
1960s
and
early
1970s
and
are
still
active
today. |
