Cute. Serious. Smart. Adorable. Cute. Serious. Smart. Adorable. Cute. Serious. Smart. Adorable.

CUTE. SERIOUS. SMART. ADORABLE.
2 July 2005 - 11 July 2005 (11am - 8pm)
An Art exhibition of recent works by Teo Eng Seng.

This is an exhibition of twelve large format drawings executed this year by our firebrand artist, Teo Eng Seng. These drawings were made on handmade paper already damaged by fungus and treated with fungicide by the artist. The artist took advantage of fungus spots by highlighting and incorporating them to form part of his work.

With the exception of one piece which was inspired by Edvard Munch’s “The Scream”, the rest are portraits of pigs in different moods, representing the powerful, wealthy, talented and privileged elites of society. As elites, their decisions should contribute towards making a difference in this world. They are cute. They are serious. They are smart and even adorable. How lucky we are to have them! Let’s be happy!

The artist will talk about “Experiencing Art” on Saturday and Sunday, 9 and 10 July 2005 between 5 p.m. and 6 p.m. Everyone is welcome to the talk.
