DLR Gallery is organising an exhibition at Muse House — a converted heritage Peranakan shophouse at 22 Marshall Road, Katong. Muse House is a private museum and art gallery within the home of artist and Cultural Medallion recipient, Teo Eng Seng.

Muse House is open to the public by appointment. Admission is free.

An engaging collection that spans Teo’s 50-year career, the pieces range from impressionist works
of the mid-50s to his abstract expressionism of the 70s and his “paperdyesculp” — that can best be described as paintings striving to be sculptures
and sculptures wanting to be paintings — which
he started to create in the 80s and continues
